Pickup for concert zithers. The set contains a powerful, mirror chrome finish pickup for the chord strings, a mixer unit and an adjustable pickup for the melody strings. The pickups for the chord strings and those for the melody strings can be output on different channels.

    •    Pickup for concert zithers, 16080201. The set contains a powerful mirror chrome finish pickup for the chord strings and a mixer unit with an adjustable pickup for the melody strings. The Pickup was developed on the basis of our long-term experience as pickup makers and in steady contact with zither virtuoso Rudi Knabl.
    •    Pickup for concert zithers, 16080202 stereo version. As with our basic model 16080201 the set contains a powerful mirror chrome finish pickup for the chord strings and a second pickup for the melody strings which is controlled with the integrated mixer unit.
    •    Included with the stereo version is a special Y cable to assign melody and chord strings to separate mixer inputs. This allows to route the melody strings to a vocal amp with some reverb, while the chord strings are run dry through a bass amp. The jack plug with the black sleeve support spring carries the signal of the melody strings, the standard jack plug that of the chord strings.
    •    On request a piezo-ceramic pickup can also be supplied instead of the mirror chromed pickup for the chord strings. This one has been specially designed for zithers with nylon or gut strings and is called 16080203.
    •    Our zither pickups with the article numbers 16080201 and 16080202 are designed for steel strings. If you wish to use nylon strings, please order article number 16080203, which is our piezo pickup for zither.
